Dr. Monika S. Heda

Optometrist

Dr. Monika S. Heda grew up in Canada, graduating with a B.S. in Biological Sciences from the University of Calgary. She then moved to Tennessee to pursue her Doctorate of Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry. She completed her degree in 2010 following training at a Naval base in Corpus Christi, TX and a private family practice in Fort Worth, TX.

Dr. Heda spent the next 8 years as an independent eye doctor running her own optometric office within the Target Optical in Lewisville, TX. Dr. Heda strives to always stays on top of the latest advances in ocular health. She brings along with her a reputation of attentiveness to the needs of all her patients and takes the time to really understand what her patient is in need of.

In her free time she enjoys reading a great book, traveling and exploring the world and staying active! Her free time is devoted to her husband Ravi, and raising their two beautiful daughters.
